I have not celebrated Hanukkah since I was a child, but my relatives who do observe the Jewish holidays have reminded me on Facebook that is begins tonight. So I have a Hanukkah tale to share with you from my life as a storyteller with Better Said Than Done, telling true stories as part of an evening’s entertainment.
I think I posted this video on this now-renamed blog once before, but there’s nothing in the Talmud, or the Dharma, to prevent telling the same story twice. In fact, it’s an old Jewish, and Buddhist, tradition.
I hope you enjoy it.
